Our Story
Occasion Rentals first started in March 2023 as a small rental company in Rangiora, Christchurch! I started this company as I have a passion for fashion and making other girls feel and look their absolute best. I had so many dresses in my wardrobe that I didn’t wear all the time and I thought that I would put them to better use and give other girls the opportunity to rent them for any special occasion. Occasion rentals has slowly grown as we have brought in gorgeous designer dresses that we can rent out at an affordable price, making it easy for girls to find an outfit to wear that would suit any event.
Our aim when renting with Occasion Rentals is to get you feeling your absolute best for an affordable price. We are consistently updating our wardrobe so that there is always an outfit for you to wear to that special occasion. We believe you should feel incredible in the outfits you wear without compromise.
We also have a sustainable approach to our business - all of our postage bags are compostable, making it an eco-friendly business which we are very serious about! All Occasion Rental orders are delicately wrapped and sent off to our customers 1-4 days before your event, ensuring that it is a stress-free, accommodating process for all of our customers!
By renting with Occasion Rentals you are also playing your part in an eco-friendly fashion as you are reusing garments that we have supplied and offered to you at an affordable price, instead of you paying full price for a designer garment that you will only wear once or twice!
Occasion Rental's wardrobe is still growing slowly and with all of your support, you have allowed us to supply stunning designer dresses that anyone can wear! We are always bringing in more garments so that you can always rely on us to have your next event sorted!
We currently have garments suitable for any occasion - from 21st to balls, engagement parties, weddings or even just a night out with the girls! Hiring from us is made easy and designer garments for only a fraction of the retail price!
